Swedish-British Wedding at Görvälns Slott

Swedish-British Wedding at Görvälns Slott

This year has been such a busy year and now that it’s November and the wedding season here in Stockholm is well and truly over, I have some time to catch up on my blogging. Back in July, the gorgeous Swedish-British couple Sanna and Hamish tied the knot out at a gorgeous little boutique hotel called Görvälns Slott. Overlooking the water to the west and situated on a beautiful hill, Görvälns Slott has long been Sweden’s Best Boutique Hotel and has hosted many famous names, including the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. Although not a typically large building, it certainly doesn’t lack beauty or character, which made it the perfect venue for Sanna and Hamish.

if you have a Frog Prince theme and then mic it with some Scottish Kilts and a dash of Ceilidh Dancing, you get one truly amazing wedding. Never before have I seen a Bride entertain her own guests by playing a violin duo with a close friend and teaching Ceilidh dancing to laughing and tripping family and friends. It was probably the best wedding party I have had the honour of attending. I won’t say too much more, because I think you’ll get an idea on how amazing this was from the pictures, but it was definitely a wedding to remember.
